Week 20

No mods. this week. This week, I went for a great ride with a couple of the guys from the FZ1OA. Jim (aka YodaDada) rode down with his brand new '02 Silver FZ-1. Very cool color. Tom (aka TTFZ1) also came by to join us for an early morning ride into the Santa Monica Mountains. We discovered that Jim had never been to the Rock Store, so we decided to take him up there. We took some nice backroads from my place that have one great sweeper that goes on forever. We finally made our way to Westlake Blvd./Hwy 23 South. On the way there we stopped at the Overlook. We then made a breif appearance at the, not very busy, Rock Store. We gazed at all the various bikes there for a bit before heading east down Mulholland Hwy.We took Mulholland Hwy passed the Speed Trap to Las Vigenes Rd. We then took Las Virenes Rd. south to PCH. This goes right by Pepperdine University. We stopped at Malibu Bluff State Recreation Park before Tom took us west down PCH to Latigo Canyon Rd. We took Latigo Canyon Rd. to Mulholland Hwy, Mulholland Hwy to Decker Canyon and Decker Canyon to Westlake Blvd. Here we all went our seperate ways with huge smiles to go home with. We plan on make another run on Memorial Day. |
